Personal Development Courses

Introduction

Singapore is a wonderful place to shop till you drop, enjoy sightseeing and indulge in dining pleasures.

However, have you thought about doing something different? Perhaps something to develop your interests and enrich yourself?

On your next visit, think about taking up a short course or signing up for a special interest talk. You will be surprised at the range of courses offered in Singapore.

Short half-day courses and talks are available all year-round but if you have a little more time to spare or if you are going to be based in Singapore for a few months, your options are even wider.

If you want to dazzle your friends with your culinary skills, sign up for a programme with a culinary school. Or if your artistic flair extends to the fine arts, design or dance, there are courses in Chinese calligraphy, 3-D animation and fusion dance, to name a few.

Prefer the outdoors? Sign up for golf-driving, water-skiing, wakeboarding, tennis, and the list goes on. For the sports professionals, there are short programmes on topics such as sports massage and sports first aid.

Health and beauty are two very hot topics. In Singapore, you can attend talks on traditional Chinese medicine, pick up spa therapy skills or learn specialized make-up artistry for stage or bridal needs.

As a starting point, we have listed some venues that offer these courses. We will add more as and when more courses are introduced. Do write in to us to let us know what areas you are interested in.

So what are you waiting for? Invest in yourself. Sign up for a course now.
